About Us
“Horseback Riding in Cusco by Vieja Estancia Ranch” was born from the passion of Holger and his father Lucho, lifelong horse lovers and experienced breeders from the city of Cusco.
Holger holds a degree in Tourism Management from the National University of San Antonio Abad del Cusco, while Lucho is a History and Geography teacher with a deep understanding of the region’s cultural heritage.
With more than 20 years of experience in caring for and training horses, they decided to create Vieja Estancia Ranch with the goal of offering visitors meaningful and authentic horseback riding experiences in Cusco, Peru.
Each of our tours is carefully designed to showcase the best of Cusco’s cultural and natural wonders. We want every visitor to connect with the landscapes, history, and traditions of the Inca culture while enjoying safe, responsible, and well-guided horseback adventures.
